I mentioned previously how convenient it is that MPG is a sleepy, lazy lump of frog during the day and I used that to my advantage to add some things to her environment that I thought she would enjoy when she woke up. A (fake) bamboo plant for her to climb and cling to; a section of wood for her to jump over and hide under; and a little ceramic dish for her to splash in. I also picked up some moss, even though the terrarium I purchased came with a liner. Using disposable moss will lengthen the life of the liner and help keep it humid in there (though living on the east coast in the summer makes it easy enough to maintain humidity, even at night).
I've passed out too early to see her evening exploration the past couple of nights. Job search, finally getting over my last relationship, moving AGAIN, and dealing with anxiety/procrastination. I have 21 days to get my Checkpoint affairs in order (and, hopefully, some life affairs) and I'm ready to be done with that chapter of my life so I can start the new one. It started with a weird, sketchy, dishonest guy and ended with pretty much the same. I have more friends, better friends, and having them along with MPG is making this whole transition so much easier. Change is happening. I can't avoid it, but I can face it as best I can and hope I become just a little bit better of a person because of it.
